Colour Creations Mango Melody

Mango Melody Orange Daisy Vintage Cards Stampin' UpHello dear friends! Tonight on Colour Creations Showcase we are showing the many possibilities with the lovely Mango Melody!

I made these cards using the Block Stamping technique. I inked a Clear Block C with Mango Melody ink straight from the pad, spritzed the inked block with water, and then "stamped" the block onto some Whisper White cardstock. I held the block down for a little while to allow the ink to spread and set on the cardstock.

When the ink had dried I used the script stamp from Very Versailles in Memento Black ink and stamped over the background I had just created. I then used a Stitched Rectangle Die to cut out a matt and corresponding frame.

I used the Timeless Label Punch to make a label using stamps from the Daisy Lane stamp set. I made the card on the left with these elements, and finished off with some Metallic Edge Ribbon tied in a bow.

The second card utilised the frame I had just made. I attached it onto a white card base at an angle and adhered some daisies I had made using the Daisy and Medium Daisy punches. I used the retired Leaf punch to make some stems and leaves in Basic Black cardstock. The current Sprig punch could be used instead. I stamped  "hello" with the stamp from Timeless Tropical.
