Colour Creations Blackberry Bliss

This week we are looking at the sensational colour of Blackberry Bliss. Here are two cards I made featuring this gorgeous colour:

Stampin' Up Blackberry Bliss cards

For my first card I showcased the Positive Thoughts stamp set and matching Nature's Thoughts dies. I used a card base of Whisper White and put a matt of Blackberry Bliss. Onto this I placed another white matt diecut using the Nature's Thoughts die. I stamped the leafy image using the neutral Gray Granite, stamping off a couple of the images to add some depth.

I stamped the sentiment onto vellum, as well as a couple of butterflies from the stamp set. I also stamped the flower and a third butterfly onto Whisper White. I diecut all of these, as  well as a flower centre from Blackberry Bliss cardstock.

I adhered all the pieces together as shown in the pictures. The vellum butterflies and sentiment were adhered using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. The Dimensionals were placed on the corners of the piece of vellum with the sentiment stamped on it, and to hide the Dimensionals underneath I placed a Pearl Basic Jewel on top of them.

And this is the final result:

My second card was made using the Dandelion Wishes stamp set. I used a Blackberry Bliss card base and placed a Whisper White matt onto it. On top of this I layered a piece of Blackberry Bliss card with the dandelions embossed onto it using Versamark ink and White emboss powder. I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock and made a banner using the Banner Punch.

And here is the final result:

I love how these cards turned out and I know just who I am giving them to!

I hope you enjoy Blackberry Bliss as much as I have. Happy crafting!
