Colour Creations Balmy Blue

This week we are showcasing the gorgeous colour of Balmy Blue. Here is a card I made using the To A Wild Rose stamp set and dies.

The card base was made with Whisper White cardstock. The Balmy Blue matt was embossed with Old World Paper 3D embossing folder.

The roses were stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with White embossing powder, as well as stamped with Night of Navy and Balmy Blue, in a 3-step stamping method. The roses were then die cut using the coordinating dies. The dies also were used to make the lovely lacy leaves to finish off the project.

I then made this card as I could not stop with the To A Wild Rose stamp and die set! The Balmy Blue was teamed up this time with Silver embossing powder. I used the Sprig and Leaf punches for easy embellishments, and added a few pearls.
