November Blog Hop - Gift Bags with Pigment Sprinkles

The Art With Heart Team are back with another inspirational Blog Hop. This month we are featuring Gift Bags and Boxes, just in time for the Christmas gift giving season. But, of course, gift bags and boxes come in handy throughout the year!

I just love Stampin' Up!'s Pigment Sprinkles - they are a cool way to add a bit of fun to your project! The effect of spraying water on sprinkled powdered paint lends a randomness and unpredictability to the finished work - let the pigment fall! Combining them with templates creates additional interesting possibilities. Templates can be die-cut cardstock or ready-made plastic ones - Stampin' Up! has a beautiful range of both to choose from. With or without the templates I found I was more than happy with the results!

Here I took a plain white paper bag and dressed it up using Stampin' Up!'s Pattern Party Decorative Masks and Pigment Sprinkles. I laid a mask (or template) on the bag, sprinkled over it with the Pigment Sprinkles and spritzed with water (using the Stampin' Spritzer). In the examples below I used the lace pattern and the brick pattern masks.  I then added some stamped greetings using Perennial Birthday stamp set and voila! you have a pretty gift bag! I could have also customised them for Christmas using seasonal sentiments.
