My daughter is very special to me and she loves French Chic. So influenced by her I bought some lovely stamps from Stampin' Up and have tried to re-create the French look with this card:
And then on the weekend some very special friends came over and made cards for special friends of theirs. This is what Auntie Arlene made for a friend of hers who was going away to visit her children - a lovely punch-art bouquet:

I think this card I made for my young one-year-old nephew is a pretty good effort. I love the colours for a boy. I hope he likes it but I am afraid I may not find an envelope big enough for it - it measures 15 x 15 cm. It has to go to India and I hope it survives the trip!
There's a unique kind of joy with cards, the joy of making them and then the joy of giving them away. The card was made with Stampin' Up! Pretty Petites stamp set and Petite label punches, as well as the Confetti Stamp set - I love it!

A friend of mine has a mother who is turning 70 years old - that calls for a big celebration! So she and her daughter came over to my house and we designed and made a one-of-a-kind, original birthday card. Her daughter also made a card, whilst enjoying the company and guidance of my girl. So it was a great girl's day in!
